JULY 2021 - Impact Credit Solutions (ICS), the fintech platform that enables small business lending in Southeast Asia, has named four new senior executives. Its hires, which include Dewi Wiranti, Tam Trinh, Smriti Gupta and Grace Su, boost its gender equality priorities. 50 percent of ICS’ management and 59 percent of ICS’ total staff are now women, far ahead of the industry average in the finance and tech industry. Dewi Wiranti joins ICS as Indonesia Country Head. Dewi has more than 25 years of banking and financial services experience, having worked at Bank Mandiri, Citibank, HSBC, and Deutsche Bank. She has also served as Managing Director at Accenture. Most recently, she was President Director of Priority Banking School, a leading education center that empowers Indonesians for financial services careers. Dewi will lead ICS’ initiatives and growth in Indonesia, which currently includes the Indonesia Resilience Fund, a $40 Million fund supported by the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC), the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), and the Australian Government Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT). Tam Trinh joins ICS as Chief Analytics Officer. She has nearly 15 years of experience in financial services, modelling and analytics. Before ICS, Trinh served as a Director at Standard Chartered Bank and Vice President at DBS. As Chief Analytics Officer, Tam will lead ICS’ data science and risk analytics team, building credit models for financial institutions and technology companies to underwrite their SME customers. Smriti Gupta joins ICS as Chief Financial Officer. Smriti has over 15 years of experience in investment banking (Goldman Sachs), private equity and venture capital (Actis Capital, Khosla Impact) and entrepreneurship (C-suite roles at Tickled Media, Neuron Mobility). Smriti is also an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at INSEAD. Smriti will lead ICS’ finance team and fundraising efforts. Finally, Grace Su joins ICS as Head of Impact. Previously, she was Head of Social Impact for Proximity Designs, an agri-social enterprise in Myanmar. As Head of Impact, Grace will set ICS’ impact goals in collaboration with partners like DFC and DFAT, and implement the monitoring framework to ensure ICS achieves them.
