Sircolo, an e-commerce solutions company, acquires Warung Pintar, a marketplace for independent retailers (“warungs”). The acquisition aims to strengthen Sirclo’s proposition  as the go-to omnichannel solution for brands, distributors, MSME merchants, and end consumers. Sirclo Group CEO, Brian Marshal, said the company has been operating in serving businesses (or B2B) for more than eight years, and understands the unmet business needs of small-scale retailers. Local brands need to ensure product availability, distribution channel efficiency, and easy access to reach end-consumers and suppliers. The combined ecosystem of the two startups serves over 150k brands, 500k stalls and grocery stores, reaches over 25 million end-consumers and over 80 distribution points throughout Indonesia.
