Finclusion and WEConnect International present Meeting Capital and Market
Opportunities for Women Entrepreneurs
Jakarta, March 2024. WOW Event 2024 celebrated International Women’s Day with the
theme – Inspire Inclusion. Finclusion and WEConnect came together to inspire inclusion for
women entrepreneurs to access capital and markets. WOW Event was a half day event for
women entrepreneurs consisting of a panel discussion, interactive sessions, and matchmaking.
Event Highlights:
- Inspirational Talk and Panel Discussion
Speakers at the event included Suci Arumsari, Co-Founder of Alodokter, who discussed the
challenges of balancing multiple roles. Nilam Sari, Founder of PT Sari Kreasi Boga Tbk
(Kebab Turki Baba Rafi), shared her journey from startup to listing on the Indonesia Stock
Exchange. Additionally, Zivanna Letisha Siregar and Dewi Meisari Haryanti, along with other
panelists, explored market and capital growth opportunities. - Interactive sessions
Engaging quizzes on Finclusion/Bu Mira and WECommunity provided interactive learning
experiences. - Matchmaking and networking
Facilitated networking sessions allowed participants to connect with corporate buyers,
strategic partners, and fellow women entrepreneurs to discuss business expansion
opportunities.
At the event, Finclusion introduced Bu Mira, the business partner helping women
entrepreneurs grow their business through education modules, financial tools and loan
applications, all through WhatsApp. Finclusion believes in the potential of every women
entrepreneur in Indonesia. With Bu Mira, we are committed to turning those dreams into
reality. Bu Mira invites women entrepreneurs to connect with her on WhatsApp or visit
WEConnect International is raising awareness on supplier diversity and how women
entrepreneurs can tap into this opportunity by joining the WECommunity. WEConnect
International’s corporate buyers such as IBM, Mondelez, and Standard Chartered participated in
the event during the matchmaking session with women business owners.
